"Jerry Nelson Stuart has a passion for paint. He owns a painting company and transforms the interiors and exteriors of homes and businesses. But that’s not where the passion stops. Stuart is also an accomplished artist, creating fine works of art that are shown in various galleries both locally and nationally.

Stuart’s most recent accomplishment is a mural on the ceiling of the Catholic Grotto on Pine Street in Mount Shasta.

Situated near St. Anthony’s Parish Hall and rectory, the Grotto is a small stone structure dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the apparition of the Lady of Lourdes in Southern France. Stuart was commissioned by Father Canny to recreate a picture of St. Anthony reaching out to Baby Jesus on the Grotto’s ceiling."
